The Research Center was established in 2004 under the guidance of Dr. Shitole, Dr. Jaysinh G. Patil & Dr. Rachana Dubey with the following objectives:
To encourage the Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Research
To undertake Research Projects, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
To provide the research based consultancy services to Industry, Trade & Commerce.
Research Centre was inaugurated on 10-03-2009 at the hands of Capt. (Retd.) C.M.Chitale – Dean, Faculty of Management, University of Pun.
Achievements:
Since April 2004 , six candidates got Doctorate under the guidance of Dr. Shitole & Dr. Rachana Dubey. Two students under Dr. J.G.Patil.
The National Seminar on “Development of Small Scale Industries in Era of Globalisation” was organized on 19th November 2005. Eighty participants presented their research papers. Our faculty members viz. Dr. Rachana Dubey, Dr. Vijayalaxmi Shrinivas, Dr. Vijay Shitole presented research papers in the seminar
A research project ‘Auto Rickshaw Passengers Transport in Pune’ was undertaken.
We propose to develop training and research activities relating to market, event management and International scenario of economic and political developments.
The Director, Dr. J.G. Patil shall have many research project introduced, including industrial visits and reports preparations. Research activities are also on the anvil for behavioral science and other related HRM subjects including Research in Social and Community Development Programme.
Computer Laboratory with 24 hours internet connectivity.
Library is equipped with modern collections of books, periodicals and journals on all subjects, including encyclopedias and online connectivity to major libraries/ universities and information centres all over the world.
The Research Centre is equipped with ultra modern facilities along with qualified Research Guides and Associates.
The Research Centre has connectivity to EBSCO E-journal.
